Currency

The Swedish currency is the crown or krona. ( 10 crowns = 1 Euro, 7 crowns = 1 USD )

All major credit cards are accepted in shops, taxis and Cash machines. (exceptions are some small shops, minor taxi companies and sometimes American Express cards)

Taxis

Most Swedish taxis accept credit cards.
Be aware: If you decide to travel with taxi, always negotiate and agree upon the price before the transport.

- A taxi ride from the railwaystation to a central hotel in Malmö is normally very short and should seldom reach above 150 SEK.

- Kastrup airport - Malmö: around 750 SEK

- Sturup Malmö airpot - Malmö: around 425 SEK.
